Deacon + Richardson have secured planning permission for a new nursery building to home Gingerbread Nursery in Saltdean Park. The building will replace the dilapidated Portacabin which has stood in the park since the early 1980s. The lightweight modern timber building will incorporate a green roof and provide vastly improved accommodation for the children attending the nursery. The application was approved at planning committee on 12th June, assisted by 126 letters of support from the local community. We hope to see work commence on the new building later this year.
