Deacon + Richardson have been appointed to develop proposals for the renovation of Grace Eyre’s premises. The developed scheme includes a partial change of use of, and external alterations to, the existing building in Hove. The overall aim is to provide a modernised and accessible facility for the charity.
The existing building is to be split in two. To the west, the first section will provide supported living accommodation for adults with learning difficulties. The remaining section to the east will be re-developed into a new multi-purpose facility.
The new facility is to be more sustainable, more accessible, more fire safe and more specifically adapted to meet the needs of the Grace Eyre organisation.
