Our clients on Wanderdown Road came to Deacon + Richardson to develop their initial designs into a working package of information.
Due to the steeply sloping nature of the site, the proposed designs needed to be carefully adapted to accommodate the site conditions. Special care was given to a new stair linking the proposed lower ground floor with the existing above. Externally, the proposals needed to be considered regarding the impact on the neighbouring properties. Internally the design needed to be advanced to comply with the Building Regulations.
The culmination of this process was a comprehensive set of planning drawings and building regulation plans which were approved by the local authority. Our client benefitted from construction experience and managed the build themselves.
