So Create A Difference: local architects’ exhibition and workshop will be opportunity to tell Hastings how you imagine the town’s future. The arrival of Spring gives us all an opportunity to take a fresh look at where we live. A group of architects is going one step further – urging us all to imagine the ideal future for Hastings and St Leonards. At the beginning of April, around 15 local architects including Deacon and Richardson will put on show of their ideas for transforming the town. They will run a drop-in centre and workshop alongside the exhibition of ideas, so that the public can draw and write their own visualisations for the future of Hastings and St Leonards. The So Create A Difference Hastings exhibition will be in an empty shop in Priory Meadow – exact location to be confirmed – over several days before and after the drop-in event on Saturday 5 April. The architects’ and the public’s visualisations and views will be turned into a book and presented to senior staff and Councillors at Hastings Borough Council during the year.
