After two unsuccessful applications by others, we were delighted to gain planning permission for a new home in our client's rear garden in Woodingdean. Our brief was to design a three-bedroom modern home which would sit neatly within this back land site on Crescent Drive South. Our approved scheme had to address the previous reasons for refusal, the most challenging of which was the principle of development being 'unacceptable in this location'. The approved design has a minimal impact on the neighbouring properties and will make use of a material palette appropriate to the local area.
